Schools are recommended to make use of the list on "Reflection on School's Preparation for NSS " provided in the kit to reflect on their current state and progress of preparation for NSS. Information provided in the kit includes the NSS curriculum, newly introduced subjects, assessment, university entrance requirements, multiple pathways, parental support for students under NSS and funding resources. Each item is supported, as appropriate, by powerpoints, videos and useful websites. Schools may select, download and adapt the materials in the kit to suit their different needs. The kit also provides other reference materials and useful websites for school leaders, teachers and parents wanting to know more about NSS. |
We hope that the kit will serve as a user-friendly tool for schools to communicate with students, parents and teachers and enable all stakeholders to reflect on their own roles and to work together for the implementation of NSS. We would supplement information on other NSS-related issues, such as careers education, requirements of post-secondary institutions and Civil Service employment requirements in due course. |
